
Village Forest School Program
Starting the 2025-2026 school year, The Village School of Louisville will be offering a weekly Village Forest School to the homeschool community, online students, and other non-traditional learners. This program will bring valuable environmental education to the Louisville area for those ages 5 (by August 1, 2025) to 17 during the school year at George Rogers and/or Cherokee Park. Lessons will be based primarily on Project Wild but also utilize other forest school curricula. While this program will be an important piece of alternative learning, it is supplemental, and The Village School of Louisville is not responsible for reporting the schooling of or ensuring the comprehensive education of the homeschool student/alternative learner, as that is the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
Forest school will tentatively be from 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM. These hours are subject to change depending on enrollment. The program will run on the following Fridays for the 2025-2026 school year:

The cost for the year is $2500 and requires a $500 deposit to hold your child’s place.
